Big Brother Nigeria Presenters
The two people who will be playing the all important role of walking us through the Big Brother Nigeria process are none other than Olisa Adibua and Michelle Dede.
Storm Vision Limited Chairman Obi Asika believes that the two presenters are going to be African TV stars: “To present a show like Big Brother, you need personalities that enjoy engaging with different kinds of people, who want to understand human behaviour, who blend curiosity with compassion. These are talents you either have or you don’t. Olisa and Michelle do and that’s vital to their new roles. It’s a bonus that they are fans of Big Brother and are just eager as audiences to see each Big Brother chapter unfold.”
Charismatic Olisa Adibua is well known in Nigeria for being the host of a leading radio show for the past 8 years whilst sassy Michelle Dede is a former marketing professional who has lived in Australia, Brazil, Ethiopia, the US, Italy, France, Zimbabwe and the UK.
When asked why he auditioned for Big Brother Nigeria, Olisa said that it was because he was excited about Africa and the rest of the world seeing, "the best that Nigeria has to offer". On the subject of why Nigerians should support Big Brother Nigeria his confidence in the show is evident, "‘It’s compelling viewing and addictive television."
For Michelle Dede, her message to audiences is to watch because "Nigerians being Nigerian; this Big Brother show will be like no other."
The twosome is set to welcome audiences in over 40 African countries as Big Brother Nigeria opens its doors to its 12 housemates on March 5th. It will be Olisa and Michelle’s responsibility to keep M-Net audiences updated, informed and entertained as the days turn into weeks and as the competition for the US$ 100 000 prize intensifies.
