It's Maureen and Ify!
April 10’s Nomination Show put another piece in the Big Brother Nigeria puzzle. As Joan’s eviction revealed, the Housemates are looking to get their biggest rivals voted out, one by one. If there is no discernable pattern, it’s because all the players are still laying the groundwork for their master plans…
We saw a re-cap of the On My Knees - Part Two Task, where Housemates begged for their fellow Housemates to stay, including Ify pleading for Joan to stay as she is a “strong woman”.
Like last week’s, this round of nominations ended up being an all-girl affair. The Big Brother Nigeria Housemates gunned mainly for Maureen and Ify, who received four votes each. Interestingly enough, Ebuka’s golden ‘no-nomination’ record was finally broken when Katung voted for him (perhaps another indication that Housemates are looking to oust their most likely threats). Katung himself received no nominations, but will that remain the case? Helen also escaped being nominated. Perhaps that was a sympathy vote because her best friend – Joan – had left?
Here’s the list of who voted for who and their reasons:
Sandy voted for:
Gideon, because she said she hasn’t learned anything from him.
Maureen, because she isn’t involved in the House, and neglects others.
Gideon voted for:
Joseph, because he is too laidback.
Sandy, because she has been uptight so far.
Frank voted for:
Francisca, because she was just OK and “someone’s gotta go”.
Maureen, because simply, “somebody else has gotta go!”
Joseph voted for:
Frank, because it is either his opinion, or nothing at all.
Maureen, because she isn’t straightforward.
Katung voted for:
Ebuka, because he is the strongest link in the House. If he could break the link he might stand a chance of getting to know the others.
Frank, because he is the second strongest link.
Ebuka voted for:
Joseph, because they aren’t close.
Ify, because he hasn’t seen the real Ify yet.
Ify voted for:
Francisca, because she isn't being cherished in the House.
Maureen, because she isn't straight-forward.
Francisca voted for:
Gideon, because he isn't straight-forward and likes his clique of friends.
Ify, because she has an attitude problem.
Helen voted for:
Joseph, because she doesn’t know him.
Ify, because she doesn’t accept jokes.
Maureen voted for:
Sandy, because they haven’t got a connection yet.
Ify, because she constantly reminds her they are on television.
Go to the forums to have your say, and don’t forget to vote!
